Fifa 19
Fifa 19 is a football games were the player can choose a football team and play against another player. There are many teams to choose from. The games updates every year with new team rosters and stats from the previous football season. There are many modes to be player too. The player can practise the controls on skill games, play offline with a friend, online with another player or the player can play Pro Clubs. Pro Clubs is a mode were the player makes their own player from scratch and plays as that one player instead of controlling the whole team. The more you play the better the player gets. It also has an element of team work and interactivity with other players as their can be twenty-two players playing in a game at once, all controlling their own player. If you’re looking for a gift for a football fan, Fifa 19 is perfect for you.
Celeste
Celeste is a single-player platformer game that follows the story of Madeline while she makes her way up a mountain. You the player, have to avoid deadly traps and obstacles that can kill Madeline. There is more abilities that unlock throughout the game which makes the game so good. The game gets better and better the more you play. This game is perfect for you if you enjoy single-player story games. It is also a pixel game and the art style, the game is not violent and is suitable for ages ten plus. If you haven’t already, I recommend this game for your child (or yourself, never too old to play games).
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a open world exploration game with role-playing elements added to it. It is the eleventh major installment in the franchise. It has elements of violence and if you don’t want to get it for your child because of that reason then fine. However, I do recommend it because of its story, its beautiful scenery and the amazing lore of the franchise.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Black Ops 4 is a first person multiplayer shooter. It has its own single-player story as well as many multiplayer modes in which players can fight with or against each other. Player’s can work together while playing a game mode called Zombies. It is essentially a game mode were the player’s have to get better guns and survive as long as possible. More classic modes include team deathmatch, capture the flag, hardpoint etc. It is a good game if your teenager is all about competitive gameplay and non-stop action.
Spider-Man
Marvel’s Spider-man. The game when you play as a web shooting, wall climbing, web swinging superhero that saves his city multiple times from thugs and other villains. It is a very good game because of the great story and on top of that, you play as a good guy helping to enforce the law.The player has access to the whole city and you can free roam around it whenever you want. The only problem about this game is that it is a PlayStation exclusive, meaning that you have to own a PlayStation 4 in order to play it.
Here are the five games I recommend for you to buy for Christmas in 2018. These games are all a great choice. But remember that it also depends on the person you’re buying the game for.
